Prelaunch · early access

One event. Multiple teams. One room to solve.

A virtual escape room planned for your entire group

A large group should not mean one oversized team. Escape Room is being designed so an organizer can run one event, divide participants into smaller teams, and start every team in the same room at the same time. Progress and finish times return to one host view.

The format

Scale the number of teams, not the noise in one team

Participants join one event and are placed into smaller groups. Each team receives the same room and the same starting clock, then works independently. The planned host view brings every team’s stage, hint use, and completion time into a single progress board.

  • One overall event invitation
  • Multiple teams in parallel
  • The same challenge and starting conditions
  • One final leaderboard

Devices and rooms

Give each team a clear place to collaborate

Remote organizers can create breakout rooms and ask participants to keep a browser tab open. In-person organizers can place each team around one or more laptops or tablets. Individual devices are helpful for joining and viewing clues, but the final device guidance will be confirmed during early-access testing.

Capacity

A planned ceiling, not an unlimited claim

The Team Event is planned for up to 30 participants and the Company Event for up to 100. These are launch targets, not production-tested promises. Groups above 100 can register their interest so capacity decisions are based on real event needs.

Practical answers

Questions organizers ask before choosing a room

How will a large group be divided?

The current design target is teams of four to six people inside one overall event. Final assignment controls will be tested during early access.

Will every team play the same room?

Yes. Teams are planned to receive the same room and simultaneous start so final times are comparable.

Can 100 people play?

Up to 100 participants is the planned Company Event launch capacity. It remains subject to real load and usability testing.

Does every participant need a device?

Participants will need browser access, but the best device-per-team setup will be confirmed during early access. In-person teams may work together around shared devices.

What happens for groups above 100?

There is no unlimited tier. Organizers can share that need in the early-access form so future capacity work reflects real demand.
